Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American designer and author who has been awarded numerous prizes for her works. She has been a vocal advocate for the rights of animals. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 72 are among her most well-known films. Her family was an artistic family from New York and wanted to take up a profession in the field of artistic fields. Her first job was as a photography assistant and after that she moved on to acting and modeling. The actress was awarded the Golden Globe Award in 1990 as a promising young actress. MacGraw quickly became famous after the 1970 hit film Love Story. She was nominated for one of the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. After only three movies she was deemed one of the most successful women at the box office in history. At Grauman's Chinese Theater, in 1972, she got her handprints and signature engraved. In addition to The Getaway Convoy Players she also starred in the television show The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography was published. MacGraw was married three times.
